Klub je určen hlavně začátečníkům. Nemá konkurovat klubu Anglina který je věnován už pokročilejším. Je zde tedy vítaná jakákoli diskuze týkající se výuky, procvičování, slovíček, úloh či otázek na jakékoli téma související s výukou angličtiny.

zachovalé bych asi napsal něco ve smyslu preserved, nebo snad conserved, ale to jen proto, že proved neznal jsem

There are many historical sights both in the city centre and in the outskirts. The most important place is The Karnak temple complex. The complex is a vast open-air museum and the largest ancient site in the world. Opposite The Karnak Temple, across the Nile River, is Hatshepsut's temple.
In the middle of the city centre is The Luxor temple (snad bych napsal in the very centre of the city). This temple is the most fabulous place of Egypt for me. The sites are the most proved(má znamenat co?) place in Upper Egypt. While we walked about The Luxor temple we saw a few archaeologists how they were doing on the sites. (nebo líp - We saw a few archaeologists working on the sites, while we walked about the Luxor Temple.
The next amazing thing was the natives. When we were walking about the streets and lanes they tried to stop us and sell us different things. It was crazy because we couldn't get them off. It drove my boyfriend mad bud I liked itt.

Dala jsem dohromady úkol (a nebylo to pro mě vůbec snadné napsat něco smysuplného) a nejsem si teda vůbec jistá jestli to má hlavu a patu a je to správně. Můžete mi na to někdo prosím hodit očko? Díky.

Ještě bych podotkla, že americká angličtina pracuje s předpřítomným časem jinak než britská (resp. prakticky ho nepoužívá), takže Američan by asi klidně řekl "Did you ever have to lie?" a myslel by od narození do současnosti.

Nejjednodussi zpusob, jak tu vetu bez kontextu presne a spravne prelozit je ten, ktery napsala Evelyn.

V jednom prispevku rikas "keep it simple" a ve druhem obhajujes svuj spatny preklad tim, ze pouzity spravny zpusob neni JEDINY spravny?

"Uzavrena minulost" a "minulost az do soucasnosti" neni to same, rozdil je prave ve vztahu soucasnosti k minulosti. Krome toho - zacatecnici se nektere veci uci zjednodusene, jsou to zacatecnici. Vazne by ses nemohl chodit realizovat nekam jinam?
