Timescape is Naomi SV's debut studio album. Counting 11 original and self-produced songs, the album delves into the intertwining themes of love, death, and time.
The titular track explores the wishful thinking of wanting to break free from the constraints of time itself. Throughout the album, time is explored in all its forms: waiting, rushing, growing, anticipating. What time gives; what time takes away.
Storytelling is at the heart of these songs, as various narrators guide us through shades of mundanity, magical realism and metaphysical tales.
Naomi’s voice, harp and piano are supported by her lush string and horn arrangements, creating an eclectic yet cohesive album.
