After six years of hard work, painstaking research and dedicated passion, I am proud to announce the launch of pre-sales of the first volume of James Horner's exhaustive bibliography, James Horner: The Emotionalist.
The pre-sale launch will begin in a few hours' time, on Friday 14 June at midnight (Paris time), and will run for 30 days. During this exclusive period, you will be able to purchase Volume 1 at a preferential rate. This first volume takes you back to James Horner's youth and the first decade of his career. A richly illustrated and commented journey.
I'm both proud and apprehensive as I write these lines. Proud because this project is the culmination of thirty years of dedication to the work of this composer. Apprehensive, because it is also an important and delicate stage: the moment to finally share this colossal work with you, the enthusiasts, the curious, the lovers of film music.
But I can't do it alone. I need your help. All of you who took the time to sign up to be notified of the sale. I'd like you to be ambassadors for this project.
