	Podle posledního rozhovoru s Anne-Sophie Mutter pro ní John Williams napíše nový houslový koncert. Premiéru by měl mít v létě 2021. Tak doufám, že vyjde Across the Star Vol. 2, na kterém kromě tohoto nového koncertního díla budou i další houslová aranžmá slavných filmových melodií ;)

	Když v březnu, kdy slaví svůj svátek Irové, vydává La-La Land Far and Away, tak by v červenci mohli třeba vydat Born on the Fourth of July ;) BTW v obou hrál hlavní roli Tom Cruise, stejně jako v loni vydaném Minority Report ;) A když už jsme u toho, tak do konce roku by mohli přihodit i War of the Worlds, ať máme ty filmy, ve kterých hrál Cruise a hudbu k nim dělal Williams, kompletní ;) Theme from Born on the 4th of July (John Williams) [music video]

	Zajímavé info z JWfan fóra: mstrox: There's rumor floating about that Williams was very unhappy with Giacchino's Rogue One score, had recommended Desplat, went on to recommend Powell for Solo. There's more nuance than that, but I'd be arsed to track it down. It's a rumor, but I've seen it corroborated by sources I'd trust.

	Steven Spielberg Won’t Direct ‘Indiana Jones 5,’ James Mangold in Talks to Replace Je dost možné, že když Indyho 5 nebude režírovat Steven Spielberg, tak nebude ani John Williams dělat hudbu. Předpokládám, že James Mangold si spíš přizve svého dvorního skladatele Marca Beltramiho.

	New Details on the Special Features Coming on Disney’s Star Wars Films in 4K Ultra HD! Star Wars: The Last Jedi will include audio commentary with director Rian Johnson and a MUCH welcome surprise: The Score-Only Version of the Movie that was previously a Digital exclusive. The Bonus Disc (running time 165 minutes) will include the exact same package of extras found on the previous Blu-ray and 4K version of the film (reviewed here). Tak to jsem zvědav, jestli to takto bude i v našich končinách. A je IMHO velká škoda a promarněná šance, že izolovanou hudební stopu nebude mít všech 9 Star Wars filmů :( To považuji za velké selhání mocných u Disneyho a Lucasfilmu! :( BTW na Riana Johnsona lidi nadávali, že pomalu zabil Star Wars, ale jako jediný režisér/producent za celou tu dobu si Williamsovy hudby vážil natolik, že chtěl, aby si ji fanoušci mohli vychutnat s filmem nerušeni dialogy a zvukovými efekty! Hlavně že je u všech filmů audio komentář režiséra a dalších tvůrců! :(
