	Malé opakování od Jasona LeBlanca, co všechno bylo špatně na rozšířené edici Hooka, kterou vydal v roce 2012 La-La Land: - It isn't complete. There is music you can hear in the film that isn't on it, as well as unused music that turned up in leaks that isn't on it...and even music on the original OST release that isn't on it! - It isn't chronological. This is subjective of course, and many may like the programming choices just fine, but many find it odd that some cues only appear as bonus tracks, or that album tracks that combined cues from two different parts of the movie were retained in the main program - The sound quality isn't consistent. The entire album fluctuates between 3 different sources: 2011 transfers of some sort of unearthed tapes, the album master, and the final film's music stem. That source sounds noticeably worse than the other two, even to people who don't normally notice these types of things, and contains audio fluctuations and edited passages as needed for the film itself - They didn't recreate the intended performance edits out of what they pulled from the 2011 transfers. So if JW recorded a cue 5 times and his approved version used in the film used 40 seconds of take 5, 10 seconds from take 3, 20 seconds from take 2, and then the rest from take 5, the same cue on the LLL set might just be take 5 throughout. That's a rough outline of it that hopefully gets the point across about why so many people desire a new edition done over from scratch by Mike.

	Tak tohle jistě nepotěší ty, kteří doufají, že když Mondo vydá letos soundtrack z Hooka na vinylu, tak La-La Land nebo jiné spec. vydavatelství chystá kompletní edici na CD: Mike Matessino: Despite the anniversary year and the Mondo LP, for which I rebuilt the original album, if an expanded Hook is coming out on CD this year, it's news to me. jwb1: Can you confirm if new sources have been found since the LLL release that do offer better quality? Mike Matessino: I will only say that the tape transfers from 2011 were used to create the new LP master.

	Rocketeer: Nejsem si vědom toho, že by někdy někdo prozradil důvody, proč si John Williams vydání těchto soundtracků nepřeje. Třeba nebyl spokojen s provedením orchestru nebo s kvalitou nahrávky. Těžko říct.

	Ewan - asi bylo někdy řečeno, ale proč si JW nepřeje vydání některých věcí? Se za to stydí, nebo nemá rád vlastní tvorbu? Však každá věc patří do své doby a ke svému filmu.

	Když už byla řeč o těch nevydaných věcech, tak je IMHO velká škoda, že třeba k jednomu z prvních Williamsových soundtracků k thrilleru The Secret Ways nejsou dle všeho zatím mastery s původní nahrávkou k nalezení :( Minimálně hudba z úvodních titulků zní totiž velmi dobře! Celý film je pak k dispozici zde.

	Ewan - no jasně, nejsilnější a nejkratší dialog v historii, který řekne vše. Pojď! Zůstaň! Tahle scéna je skvostná a uzavírá jeden z nejkouzelnějších filmů vůbec. Viva la musica :-)
