uka online“We had a lot of intense discussions with Fabien (the director) about the musical color, about the aesthetic of the series. Through the lives of three young girls, the story of Bugarach highlights how our decisions shape our lives and affect our destinies. I started working early in the process, a few months before the shooting. I sent Fabien different musical proposals but unfortunately we realized that none of these were in the right mood when we tried them out on the first cut. That happens sometimes. So I started from scratch looking for new ideas. The music needed to have a thriller feel, an emotional touch but most of all, it had to be a sci-fi score. We opted for an electronic soundtrack and I used two different themes that develop throughout the series. It was a new and an enriching experience for me, working in such a way with only electronic devices.”
